Teaching time over

Today we completed our teaching task amidst great fanfare from Colegio Miguel Cazeres. During this week we:

1) Taught conversational English to 400 students. Some knew some English and some not at all. And while they're certainly not fluent, they know a lot more than theydid and we've left them with materials to continue their studies.
2) We brough digital still and video cameras and showed them how to use them and incorporate items into PowerPoint. Students made presentations at the end of the demonstrating their knowledge.
3) We put in a wireless network that covers most of the school.
4) We wired the 20 computers in their computer lab and connected them to the Internet.
5) We added a computer to their English classroom, a room they haven't been able to use for years. This room has a computer project and individual student stations with personal response systems so the teacher can quiz them automaticall.
6) We brought board games to help reinforce their English and just to have fun.
